Refund and Returns Policy
For in stock unpersonalised items if the jewellery is not to your liking, you may return it within 7 days of receipt, in the original packaging, for a full refund or exchange. Ella Rose Silver will not be responsible for return (insured) postage costs.
Please Note: Personalized, custom, handmade to order items are non returnable unless deemed faulty. Customers must contact Ella Rose Silver before returning an item by emailing and a postal address will be provided for returning the item.
In the unlikely event of a breakage due to workmanship, a full refund or exchange will be offered within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods. Otherwise the item will be repaired, free of charge, and returned within 14 days. Items damaged through misuse, neglect, accident, or by ‘normal’ wear and tear and made-to-order items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.
You are responsible for both the postage and the goods when returning items. Ella Rose Silver cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses incurred by Royal Mail service and therefore cannot refund any items that are not received or received damaged.It is therefore recommended that you send returns by Royal Mail Special Delivery (Insured) and in the original packaging.In the case of losses or damage incurred by Royal Mail when returning items to us, it will the responsibility of the customer to make a claim to Royal Mail.
How long will it take to receive my purchase
It normally takes around 10 - 14 day to receive your order but this may be longer if Hallmarking is required. If the order is needed sooner, please contact me and let me know. The materials for each piece are normally ordered especially as limited stock is kept. If an order is needed for a specific date then please make this known when purchasing.
Next day delivery is available and will be applied to your order once the item has been made, please allow 10-14 days prior to posting as previously stated above.
Caring for your Jewellery
The best way to keep your silver jewellery looking great is to wear it, as this stops it oxidizing with the air and tarnishing. If it comes into contact with water, dry quickly to avoid stains. I recommend using a polishing cloth regularly to prevent the natural process of tarnishing. Clean your jewellery using lukewarm soapy water and a soft brush, but ensure that your jewellery is never submerged.
All necklace chains are silver plated and to keep your piece of jewellery looking clean and sparkle you can clean your chain in a mild soap solution. Avoiding exposure to environmental chemicals and cosmetics with prevent premature tarnish of the item
Gold filled or rolled gold wire is where gold alloy is bonded using heat and pressure to either side of a bass metal typically brass. Gold filled wire should not be confused with gold plated wire as it has 100% more gold than plated wire. It is more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off rub off or turn in colour.
All my items that weigh over the thresholds are Hallmarked before being sold.
1 gram for gold,
7.78 grams for silver
and 0.5 grams for platinum.
How do I measure my ring size
The best way is to work out what ring you would like to purchase and then pop into a local jewellery shop and get properly sized.
Please do not use online tools to determine you size as these are often very inaccurate.
How do I measure my Bangle size
To measure the hand, position it as though putting on a bangle, with the thumb tucked in against the palm. Wrap the measuring tape along the widest part of the hand, usually the knuckles and thumb. The measurement where the tape measure overlaps is the hand size. Please give me this size when ordering.
Most women’s sizes are usually approximately 21 cm.
